As Father, daughter too won National award for the first Song.

The 62nd National Film Awards will take place on 3 May 2015, winners are announced today. ‪UttaraUnnikrishnan‬ was announced as Best Playback singer for her performance in the song Azhagahe in the movie Saivam. Azhagahe song is her first song. 
Hope many people will know Uthra is the daughter of popular playback singer ‪‎Unnikrishnan‬. He received the ‪NationalFilmAward‬ for Best Male Playback Singer for his first song Ennavale in 1994 (Kadhalan) and also for the song Uyirum neeye from the movie Pavithra. He was the first singer to get the Best Male singer National award for a Tamil song.
