Anjaan was released on August 15 and is having successful run in all territories.especially in kerala runnig successfully in 100 theaters.What becomes more sensational in the state is that the film will continue to have its run even next week in spite of big ticket hitting releasing for Onam.This is the first ever time,non-Malayalam movie having great opening.and Anjaan team is very happy about this news.They affirmed that the film will continue to run at least in 50 major screens despite the big Onam releases.

Vairamuthu to be conferred with Malaysian award

'Moondram Ulaga Por'Tamil navel written by kavigar Vairamuthu has been adjudged by
Tansri KR Somasundaram Literature Foundation,based in Malaysia as the best Tamil Novel
written in recent times.
A committee of five members was formed and announced that the novel selected as best because
it was the first voice spoken in Tamil on global warming,a creation without precedent for its
linguistic richness and novel expressive technique,a concept embrace for the forthcoming centuries
Vairamuthu speaking about his award he said "I consider this as Gnanapeeth Award at the world level.
This work was written with an intention to fill the lacuna left by the time.The degeneration of the 
world of farming because of global warming and globalization is the content if this novel.I wish to thank Donsri Soma Linguistic Foundation
