SP Janarthanan and produced by UTV pictures.Thus film has finished and going for censor board for the  certificate and the film would be a May day special film.The film was being released    on   May 1st.The trailer of purambokku had a hit .The film is also expected with some additional flavours.Arya and Vijaysethupathis first combined film .The film was shooted in different places.The places coming in the film are taken worldwide.ITs going to be a blockbuster for UTV motion pictures.                         

STR's next with Kiruthiga Udhayanidhi

Actor ‎STR‬’s next film would be directed by Kiruthiga Udhayanidhi. Buzz is that after completing the ‪Selvaraghavan‬ film might venture to do a film for ‪KiruthigaUdhayanidhi‬ of Vanakkam ‪Chennai‬ fame. Interestingly, the movie would have music by Anirudh.
‪#‎Simbu‬ will play the lead in the film, and ‎Anirudh‬ has been roped in as the composer. The official announcement will be made by the end of this month. The female lead of the film and the rest of the cast are yet to be finalized.

Pooja Kumar talks about her role in Uttama Villain

Pooja Kumar, who plays a pivotal role in Kamal Haasan's upcoming film Uttama Villain,has opened up about her character.She plays a non-Tamil-speaking modern-day actress, who speaks chaste Tamil.I play a character from a different era. The role also gave me an opportunity to do three different dance set-pieces — a commercial number, another one set in an earlier period and then, a dance choreography as part of a stage play. It was challenging to do all these in a single film,Produced by Thirupathi Brothers and released by Eros International,Uttama Villain is directed by Ramesh Aravind. It has music by Ghibran. The audio launch is scheduled on March 1st and the film is slated for release on April 2nd.

Court dismisses petition Happy tidings for Kamal Haasan fans. Malayalam blockbuster Drishyam has been in the headlines for one major reason. It drew the attention of one and all when ‘Ulaganayagan’ Kamal Haasan chose to do the Tamil remake. The Tamil version titled Papanasam starring ‎KamalHaasan‬ and ‪‎Gouthami‬ has been talk of the town, since the day the shoot began. Expectations among movie-lovers is on a high. Interestingly ‪‎JeetuJoseph‬, who helmed the original, is directing Papanasam too.
Now a great news awaits movie-lovers and fans of Ulaganayagan. The Second Additional District Court, Ernakulam has dismissed a suit filed by Sateesh Paul against the producers and Jeethu Joseph, claiming that the story of Dhrish yam was a copyright violation of his novel Oru Mazhakalath.
The shooting of Papanasam was initially been stalled by Satheesh Paul, who had obtained an interim injunction but the producers managed a sinjunction vacated and contested the case.
After hearing both sides the District Court has finally dismissed the claims of Satheesh Paul and on merit has passed an order in favour of the producers and Jeethu Joseph.
The good news is that the verdict clearly puts to rest the entire controversy. Papanasam is nearing completion and is expected to hit the theatres this summer.
Papanasam also stars it also stars Asha Sarath, Anant Mahadevan, ‪Kalabhavan‬ Mani and ‪‎NivedhaThomas‬. Produced by Suresh Balajie, George Pius, Rajkumar Sethupathi and ‪‎Sripriya‬ Rajkumar, Papanasam has music by ‪‎Ghibran‬.

Nanbenda gets U certificate!

Udhayanidhi starrer Nanbenda is all set for release on 24 April. Sources say the movie has been censored and got a clean U certificate. Udayanidhi–Santhanam‬ team are back together again.‎Nayanthara‬ plays the heroine Nanbenda also include Thulluvatho Ilamai fame ‪#‎Sherin‬,Pooja‬ Ramachandran, Suzane George, Karunakaran, ‪‎Manobala‬, Sriranjini, Rajendram, Pattimandram Raja, Kadhal Dhandapani and (Tamannaah in a cameo role).
The music of ‪‎Nannbenda‬ is composed by ‪#HarrisJayaraj‬. The cinematography is done by Balasubramaniem and the editing is done by Vivek Harshan. The film is being produced by ‪Udhayanidhi‬’s Red Giant Movies.
